Now hiring for a Cafeteria Cook Location: Cleveland, TN Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Schedules: 1st Shift: 6:25 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday-Saturday (2 days off), with overtime as needed 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM - 1:30 AM, Sunday-Friday, off Saturday, with occasional day shift hours Must be available to work weekends and varying schedules Start your next chapter with Staffmark, where people come first, and every role makes an impact. We are seeking a dependable and experienced Cafeteria Cook to join our team. In this role, you will prepare and cook meals according to recipes, provide excellent customer service, and operate a cash register in a fast-paced cafeteria environment. The ideal candidate will have previous food service experience, the ability to work efficiently while standing for extended periods, and a strong commitment to cleanliness and food safety. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum 2 years of food service, cooking, cafeteria, or cashier experience Experience following recipes and preparing food in a fast-paced environment Cash register and customer service experience preferred Job Duties Prepare food items according to recipes and food safety standards Cook and serve meals in a cafeteria setting Operate cash register and process transactions accurately Clean work areas, equipment, and kitchen facilities Assist with food preparation and stocking supplies Provide excellent customer service to cafeteria guests Physical Capabilities Physical requirements vary by assignment and will be discussed during the hiring process.
