Cath Lab RN - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 5x8 Hours (06:45 AM - 03:15 PM)

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and skills in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic Cath Lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic cardiac catheterizations in both the left and right heart.
• Assist in electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures and device implantations.
• Provide emergency medication administration and procedural sedation monitoring.
• Perform pre and post procedural patient assessments and monitoring.
• Utilize advanced equipment for transesophageal echo (TEE) and cardio version procedures.
• Implement infection prevention practices and adhere to isolation precautions.
• Administer and monitor pharmacological and exercise stress tests.
• Ensure compliance with radiation and laser safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab nursing.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Experience in managing antiarrhythmics and antihypertensives.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system.
