Evening Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Description As a CNA you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to our residents, assisting with activities of daily living, promoting their independence and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Schedule: Full-Time, Weekdays, Weekends, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Provide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Assist residents with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and position techniques to ensure their safety and comfort. Monitor residents' vital signs, intake and output, and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team. Assist with resident admission, transfers, and discharges, including orienting new residents to their surroundings and helping them settle into their rooms. Support residents' social and recreational activities by engaging them in meaningful interactions, escorting them to group activities and providing companionship. Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, including making beds, tidying rooms, and ensuring cleanliness and infection control standards are met. Assist with resident dining services, including meal set-up, feeding assistance, and recording food and fluid intake as directed. Document care provided and resident observations accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in educational opportunities and training programs to maintain CNA verification and enhance skills and knowledge in geriatric care. Assist new CNA team members with training and getting actuated with policies, procedures and the layout of the facility. Participate in team meetings and contribute to resident care planning and goal setting.
