Clinical Laboratory Scientist - Stat Lab

$48 - $58 per hour

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for its Stat Lab in San Leandro, California. The role involves performing diagnostic testing procedures, maintaining laboratory instruments, managing quality control, and assisting with operational oversight in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex technical laboratory procedures following standard operating procedures
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper functionality
Evaluate specimen acceptability and prepare samples for testing
Execute preventive maintenance and quality control documentation
Generate daily, weekly and monthly production reports for management

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist) license
Minimum one year experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to pass color vision screening
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational capability

Compensation: $48.00 - $58.00 per hour plus shift differential
