Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer#16287Huntington, West Virginia, United StatesApply### Job DescriptionCabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time MFM Sonographer to work with our Maternal Fetal Medicine Department.MFM Sonographers are responsible for ensuring and providing quality services in all US tests & procedures performed at the main Perinatal center, 3North and PNC-MU locations of Cabell Huntington Hospital.Primary responsibilities include:* Receiving, clarifying and/or confirming orders* Accurate and timely documentation of procedures/tests* Competent understanding and operation of all US equipment* Understanding and performance of Disinfection and quality control procedures.* Mentoring students and fostering an atmosphere of learning* Participating in collection and reporting of data used in performance and process improvement activities### Requirements* High School diploma or equivalent required.* Junior College/Technical School required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.* Registered sonographer (ARDMS) required.* OB registry required.* NT/NB certification preferred.* Maternal fetal medicine experience preferred.The **kind** of position-related experience includes:* Good working knowledge of anatomy, pathology, medical terminology and application software. Ability to skillfully operate US scanner and related patient support equipment is required.
