Job Summary:
A Clinical Nurse position is available in the medical surgical oncology floor located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role involves providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The primary responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Job Details:

• Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in North Carolina; Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited nursing program; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA or ARC); at least 2 years of chemotherapy/immunotherapy infusion experience; 1 year of general nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
• Additional Information: Candidates will perform patient care coordination, nursing process activities, patient education, and readiness to learn assessments. Experience in caring for patients with complex problems, utilizing healthcare organization standards, and participating in performance improvement activities is preferred. The role requires skills such as bedside point of care testing, care prioritization, complex problem management, and interdisciplinary communication.
