CDS Full Time Event Manager - Product Demonstration

CDS Full Time Event Manager – Product Demonstration Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking an Event Manager to recruit, hire and supervise in‑store Product Demonstrators. The role includes overseeing product preparation and presentation, training staff, ensuring food safety and sanitation, and delivering excellent customer service. Strong communication with warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators is essential, and the manager will participate in grand openings of new locations. Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety and sanitation. Train Product Demonstrators in demonstration preparation and excellent customer service. Communicate with managers, vendors and demonstrators. Participate in new location grand openings as required. Direct all activities engaged in successful events, promotion and sales of vendor products. Communicate strategies and tactics to achieve sales, service and operational excellence. Support the maintenance and ongoing development of corporate governance framework, policies and procedures. Collaborate with the District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics and make adjustments. Achieve defined revenue and net income objectives through sales activation, strategy and expense management. Optimize customer satisfaction and loyalty through improved operations. Requirements: High school education or equivalent, or an associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred). Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments; 3–5 years in a client‑side branded consumer‑packaged goods company preferred. Detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills. Proven ability to lead a high‑performing team. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Ability to coach and counsel employees and take correct measures as needed. Flexibility and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, web browsers. NEHA Professional Food Handler Certification required. Environmental & Physical Requirements: The incumbent must be able to perform essential functions, work in office, field, retail store or warehouse environments, lift up to 50 lb, stand or walk for long periods, and work in refrigerated or freezer sections as required.
