Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 5 x 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout the course of treatment

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Michigan (permanent state license required)
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Ability to meet credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to assignment start
• Completion of all required documentation as part of the onboarding and clearance process

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume outpatient therapy environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
