Parent Educator

Location Early Childhood Schedule 10-month schedule, hours vary (part-time, some night and weekend hours required) Status Non-Exempt Starting Pay $32.25/hour Essential Job Functions Plan, implement, and document personal home visits with families with children birth to five; conduct and interpret screenings and share results with parents; develop appropriate developmental activity sessions with parents and children; and suggest referral resources to families as needed. Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s Degree Certification in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education or Social Work Early Childhood experience is required Parents as Teachers National Center Foundational Training preferred Working knowledge of Google Apps Willingness to learn new computer applications necessary for the job Ability to speak Spanish fluently a plus Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively to students, parents, school personnel and others Knowledgeable about child development birth to age 5 Physical mobility to make home visits to children from birth to 5 years of age Dependable #J-18808-Ljbffr
