Principal Scientist, Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics
Scorpion Therapeutics
Role Principal Scientist in Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, focusing on developing and executing clinical pharmacology strategies for drug candidates. Responsibilities Designing PK/PD studies Applying model-informed drug development (MIDD) principles Analyzing dose-response relationships Supporting regulatory submissions Leading cross-functional teams Managing pharmacometric analyses Representing pharmacology in regulatory meetings Supporting established brands and post-approval development with some international travel (~5%) Qualifications PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, or related field 5+ years' experience in pharma R&D Expertise in PK, PD, MIDD, and modeling tools (e.g., NONMEM, R, Gastroplus) High-value biopharma specifics Emphasis on quantitative methods, translational medicine, and interaction with regulatory agencies.
