Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. Working alongside medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.

• Carry out procedures and functions as directed by the medical provider.

• Accurately document care provided in the patient’s medical record in a timely manner.

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.

• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.

• Must be a Registered Nurse.

• Associate Degree in nursing is required.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.

We feature three helipads, newly designed ICU and Medical/Surgical floors, and specialized burn care services. Our CARF-accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program and ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center further enhance our capabilities.
