Location Highlights Belfast, Maine offers a coastal setting on Penobscot Bay with direct access to the Belfast Harbor Walk and downtown Main Street. Moose Point State Park is about 4 miles from central Belfast, and Camden Hills State Park is roughly 20 miles south for hiking and bay views. Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor is a feasible day trip at about 60 miles, and the city also offers local dining, galleries, and waterfront recreation. Belfast has a walkable downtown and sits along U.S. Route 1, providing convenient regional access to Midcoast Maine communities.
