As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Charleston, WV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and represent a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, helping to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity across the location, helping to support a professional environment for a fast-paced technology, media, and telecommunications setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
