Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled DoD Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex defense systems. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional engineering, program, cybersecurity, and customer teams to define system requirements, manage interfaces, resolve technical issues, and ensure solutions meet mission, quality, security, and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, document, and manage system-level requirements.

Develop system architectures, interface control documents, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.

Support system design, integration, verification, validation, testing, and deployment activities.

Perform requirements traceability, technical risk analysis, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.

Collaborate with software, hardware, cybersecurity, test, and program-management teams.

Support configuration management, change-control processes, and technical reviews.

Create test plans, test procedures, and verification reports.

Ensure engineering work aligns with DoD standards, security requirements, and program objectives.

Support customer meetings, project status reporting, and technical presentations.

Contribute to continuous improvement, process optimization, and mission readiness.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience in systems engineering within a DoD, aerospace, defense, or government environment.

Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements, design, integration, test, verification, and validation.

Experience with requirements-management and configuration-management tools.

Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one, as required by the program.
