Laboratory Technician I

Eurofins seeks a Laboratory Technician I in Louisville to perform sample processing, equipment operation, and quality documentation in a regulated diagnostic environment. The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures precisely, and flexibility with shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment including centrifuges, automated liquid handlers, and pipettes
• Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation per quality system standards
• Perform sample processing and testing following established work instructions and procedures
• Keep equipment and work environment clean, organized, and ready for use
• Follow all safety and regulatory policies including proper PPE use and hazardous material handling

Requirements

• Associate degree or coursework in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related life sciences field
• Ability to accurately follow detailed written procedures and SOPs in regulated laboratory settings
• Attention to detail with consistent accuracy on repetitive tasks and high-volume sample processing
• Effective teamwork with minimal supervision in fast-paced production environments
• Flexibility to work overtime, alternate shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Annual RCRA awareness training completion

Compensation: $18.00–$21.50 per hour plus 10% shift differential
