About the Role
Picture a typical day: you begin by reviewing a test plan, setting up an oscilloscope, multimeter, and fixtures, then driving a series of diagnostics on populated printed circuit boards. You visually inspect components, trace signals against schematics and blueprints, and isolate root causes. Side by side with engineers, you turn findings into fixes and continuous improvements. Throughout the day you log your results, follow safety protocols, maintain equipment, and help refine the tools and procedures that make testing faster and more reliable.
What You Will Do- Execute comprehensive PCB tests and diagnostics to uncover faults and performance issues.
- Inspect and analyze circuit boards and components to verify build quality and identify defects.
- Partner with engineering to resolve technical problems and elevate product performance.
- Document results clearly and share actionable reports with the engineering team.
- Work in full alignment with safety standards and established procedures.
- Perform routine upkeep, calibration, and verification of test equipment.
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of test and debug tools, fixtures, and workflows.
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in PCB testing and diagnostics.
- Strong analytical thinking and methodical problem-solving abilities.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
- Proficiency with electronic test equipment and diagnostic utilities.
