Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments to identify patient needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans that empower patients to improve communication and swallowing function
- Provide skilled therapy interventions based on evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families on strategies to support progress
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Alabama SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Clinical problem-solving abilities and a compassionate approach
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

- Expertise in speech, language, and swallowing therapy
- Patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Clinical documentation and compliance
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
- Clinical problem-solving and critical thinking
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
