Electrical Maintenance Technician

Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on production equipment, machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, furnaces, compressors, and automated systems.

Install, maintain, and modify electrical wiring, panels, breakers, transformers, sensors, and controls.

Diagnose and repair PLC systems, VFDs, HMIs, relays, and other automation equipment.

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize unplanned downtime.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.

Respond quickly to breakdowns and urgent maintenance calls during production.

Ensure compliance with safety policies including lockout/tagout and arc flash procedures.

Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and parts usage documentation.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.

Technical degree or certification preferred.

3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.

Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments preferred.
