Student Dietetic Peer-to-Peer - Florida State University Dining Services

Position Summary
The Student Dietetic Peer-to-Peer serves as a health and wellness ambassador for FSU Dining Services. This 
position supports nutrition education, social media engagement, marketing initiatives, special events, and 
dining program promotions across campus while gaining valuable professional experience in dietetics, 
communications, and campus outreach. 

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct menu audits for campus dining halls. 
• Maintain the Worry-Free Zone, including inventory management, stocking, and cleanliness. 
• Create a minimum of two social media posts per week and assist with related video content. 
• Support marketing campaigns and promotional events. 
• Host health and wellness educational tabling events, including setup, breakdown, and cleanup. 
• Educate students about campus dining options, meal plans, and the benefits of eating on campus.
• Assist catering and dining operations during special events and game days. 
• Collaborate with various dining departments to support operational and promotional initiatives.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in the Florida State University Dietetic Program. 
• Strong interest in nutrition, health promotion, and student engagement. 
• Experience with social media platforms, Canva, Microsoft Office, and Excel. 
• Sales, marketing, or customer service experience is a plus. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently. 

Physical Requirements
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Wearing required uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

Education Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics or a related FSU Dietetic Program pathway.
