Position Overview:

The firm is seeking an experienced Partner Attorney to join its Indianapolis office. This role is ideal for a senior attorney with strong litigation and client management experience who can independently oversee complex legal matters, contribute to firm growth initiatives, and provide strategic leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently manage and oversee complex legal matters from inception through resolution.
Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients.
Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and negotiations.
Conduct legal research, case analysis, and prepare legal strategies.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents.
Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional client service.
Mentor and supervise associates and junior attorneys.
Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to firm growth.
Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic planning and decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active Bar license in good standing.
Significant experience handling complex litigation matters.
Strong expertise in legal research, case analysis, and litigation strategy.
Proven experience in negotiation, dispute resolution, and courtroom advocacy.
Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
Strong client relationship management skills.
Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload and contribute to business development efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Portable book of business is highly preferred.
Prior experience managing legal teams or practice groups.
Experience representing business entities, insurance clients, or complex commercial matters.
Established professional network and demonstrated ability to generate new client opportunities.
