Part-time Data Contractor (10 hours / week over 5 days)

We’re tackling a real and complex problem for them—managing supply and demand in the face of constantly changing customer behavior, highly complex supply chain networks, 40‑year‑old data standards and labor‑intensive manual processes. About The Role This part‑time contracting role is a crucial part of our Client Solutions team while we scale. The role will be online from 6–8 am PT every weekday to ensure our customers have their latest data from key retailers. Responsibilities include executing an outlined process, QAing data as it flows into our system, and providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to our growing customer base. No advanced technical skills are required; the role is process‑driven and training will be provided. About You In this role, you will provide crucial support to make sure our data platform always has the most accurate data. You are able to work independently, pride yourself on completing tasks, and QA issues with minimal supervision. You are reliable and can communicate effectively and succinctly with remote team members. What You Will Do Be online and available 5 days a week, including Saturday from 10 am–12 pm PT and Sunday from 6 am–8 am PT. Leverage an outlined process for ingesting data into the Alloy Platform by 8 am PT—log into a retailer portal, download data, and upload it into Alloy’s system. Proactively update the Alloy internal team on any issues or delays via Slack. Facilitate quality checks to ensure data accuracy. When time allows, triage inbound tickets and assign them to appropriate groups. When time allows, respond to customer queries accurately via the Zendesk ticketing system. What We Are Looking For Consistent availability on Saturday (10 am–12 pm PT) and Sunday (6 am–8 am PT) and 3 additional weekdays (6–8 am PT). Detail oriented with strong MS Excel or Google Sheets skills. Comfortable with data and QAing its accuracy; ability to work independently with effective time management and minimal supervision. Experience using Zendesk or other help‑desk software is a plus. Ability to communicate clearly with remote teammates. Compensation Rate: $25 CAD per hour (approx. $250 CAD per week). Pay is semi‑monthly. Contract Details Month‑to‑month contract, initial commitment of 6 months. Remote; work must be performed from the United States or Canada. The role is not full‑time and does not offer benefits.
