Concrete Worker We are seeking a skilled Concrete Worker to join our team in Akron. As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for the preparation, placement, and finishing of concrete on various construction projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for concrete placement by cleaning, leveling, and setting forms Mix, pour, and spread concrete using various tools and techniques Smooth and finish surfaces using hand or power tools Monitor and adjust the curing process to ensure proper strength development Install reinforcement materials such as rebar or wire mesh Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear at all times Requirements At least 2 years of experience working with concrete in a construction setting Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications Familiarity with different types of concrete mixtures and finishing techniques Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed Salary Starting salary for this position is $1100 per month. Location This position is based in Akron, but we welcome candidates from all nationalities who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Full-time Job This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week. Some overtime may be required depending on project deadlines. Biometric Passport A valid biometric passport or other government issued photo ID is required for this position.
