Position Overview\nComplete and Wellness Mind Care P.C. is seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families. This full-time remote position requires certified professionals to provide intensive in-community therapeutic services specifically aimed at supporting children with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. Work Environment\nThis position is remote but engages with an outpatient office environment to foster regular collaboration with the Child Family Treatment Team and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct individual therapy sessions and group therapies both in-home and in our outpatient facility. \n
- Develop and implement tailored interventions to address anger management, coping strategies, social skills, and minimize maladaptive behaviors, including self-injurious behaviors (SIB) and physical aggression. \n
- Support and enhance decision-making skills for youth and primary caregivers to manage in-home behavioral challenges effectively. \n
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach is taken in supporting youth and families. \n
- Maintain thorough documentation, adhering to all regulatory timelines for intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes. \n
- Participate in monthly meetings to contribute to team discussions and share recommendations for continuous improvement. \n
The primary focus of this role is to support children aged 3-20, especially those encountering developmental and intellectual challenges. Your therapeutic efforts will directly impact the mental and emotional well-being of youth while simultaneously supporting their families. We celebrate diversity and actively seek bilingual therapists who can communicate effectively in Spanish or Portuguese to serve our culturally varied community effectively.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required. \n
- An active and unrestricted LMFT license. \n
- A commitment to providing a minimum of 5-10 hours of service weekly, particularly during after-school hours between 4 PM and 7 PM, with possible weekend availability. \n
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle for home visits. \n
- Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting. \n

- Experience in positive behavior support frameworks is essential. \n
- Prior experience working with children, particularly those with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD), is highly valued. \n
Compensation for this role ranges from USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
