Senior Technical Program Manager, Media Workflow Systems

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee the development and delivery of media-based software and workflow projects ensuring the timely delivery of well-designed, well-scoped, high-quality software that meets and exceeds customer expectations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in technical program management, with specific experience in media workflows, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to fluently be responsible for product focused roles. You will also drive continuous improvement in program management processes and practices. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you combine the skillset of a Program Manager with the technical acumen and experience of an engineer, architect, or technical product owner. Key Responsibilities include working in direct partnership with program, product, engineering, and end-user teams to define and fine-tune agile methodologies and ceremonies; supporting efforts to define, drive, and optimize program and project processes throughout the product development life cycle; applying processes and standards thoughtfully; identifying and eliminating inefficiencies; overseeing and facilitating intake of work requests; aligning with clients to analyze and document Business Requirements; coordinating and leading efforts to gather and document Product Requirements; participating with product and engineering teams to support development of Technical Requirements and Solution Design documents; facilitating Business Case reviews; developing and maintaining a department-wide technology roadmap; working with product teams to define product vision and strategy; maintaining understanding of technological and competitive landscape; organizing Product Backlog grooming and prioritization; independently owning and leading program activities; driving technical solutions and influencing decisions; creating project milestones and monitoring risks; tracking and reporting delivery status; engaging with engineers to convert functional requirements into technical designs; communicating and influencing at all levels; generating and presenting clear artifacts such as presentations and status reports. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; 7+ years of program management experience in software/technology sector with at least 3 years in media workflow systems; technical proficiency in media and metadata management and related workflows; creative problem-solving skills; excellent organization and documentation skills; strong analytical skills; excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies; proven experience managing software development lifecycle programs; ability to work in fast-paced environments; user-centric focus; strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred skills include experience in user interface design and user experience, cross-functional global team collaboration, PMP, Agile or Scrum certifications, and proficiency with Atlassian Confluence, Jira, and Analytics.
