Manual Machinist | CNC Machinist | Welder

Tangipahoa Parish, LA

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Pay: Competitive, Based on Experience

Specialized Staffing Solutions is currently hiring Manual Machinists, CNC Machinists, and Welders for full-time, temp-to-hire opportunities with a growing machine shop in Tangipahoa Parish. Responsibilities

Depending on the position, duties may include:

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on a variety of materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and welding symbols.
• Machine, fabricate, repair, and assemble metal components to precise specifications.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and routine equipment maintenance.
• Maintain quality standards while meeting production deadlines.
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Manual Machinist, CNC Machinist, or Welder required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
• CNC setup and programming experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Dependable, motivated, and safety-focused with a strong work ethic.
• Reliable transportation.
