Systems Engineer 3

Roles & Responsibilities
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the product development lifecycle
- Lead system/product-level feasibility and risk assessments
- Facilitate cross-functional knowledge sharing and resolution of in-market and product development issues
- Coordinate system-level product development and its integration
- Serve as a resource to examine system behavior issues and resolve them for on-market products
- Identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement efforts
- Apply DFSS best practices on all projects
- At least 5 years of related work experience (combination of work experience and advanced degrees)
- Experience with Systems Engineering and requirements management
- Familiarity with systems integration and testing, system architectural planning and design, Reliability Engineering, Project Management, and Failure Modes Effects Analysis
- Experience working within an agile environment is a plus
- Identified opportunities for continuous improvement projects/efforts
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to lead multi-discipline engineering teams
- Strong technical background within Systems Engineering, medical device development, or similar domains
- DFSS knowledge and experience, or statistical test design and analysis knowledge, or Critical Parameter Management
- Excellent communication skills: interdepartmental and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong writing skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (required)
- Postgraduate degree is desirable
- Ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of DFSS, statistical analysis, and systems integration
