As a Security Officer Manufacturing Facility in Redford, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations and report concerns. Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and logistics location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout manufacturing, warehouse, parking, shipping, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
