McLaren Bay Region hospital is recruiting a Neurosurgeon to serve the needs of Bay County and its surrounding communities.  This employed opportunity will have the candidate in a beautiful, river front multispecialty clinic located a mile from McLaren Bay Region Hospital.  This position includes a healthy mix of both outpatient clinic and OR. Enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule. Additional resources include x-ray, Storz microscope for endoscopic cases, four C-arms, Zeiss microscopes, Medtronic pneumatic drills, Globus vendor supplies and a highly experienced team of over six OR first assists. Shared call with local independent Neurosurgeon. Qualified candidates will be BE/BC

Additional privileging will be required at our long-term acute care hospital located less than five miles from McLaren Bay Region. McLaren Bay Special Care is a 31-bed long-term acute care hospital specializing in the care and treatment of patients with complex medical needs, including a ventilator weaning program,  that requires lengths of stay greater than 25 days. The experienced staff are highly trained and use a team approach to provide intensive, individualized treatment. The hospital is licensed by the Michigan Department of Community Health and is accredited by The Joint Commission.
