Manual Machinist-Lathe

This position is responsible for machining various pump and specialty parts using lathes, mills, files, drill presses, reamers, broaching, pneumatic presses, grinders, and other various equipment. Tolerances are determined by reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, or charts to determine machining measurements.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently and possess  mechanical, math, and communication skills. You must be able to use measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and rulers.  problem-solving skills and those seeking to create with their hands are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.

• Must be able to be on your feet for 8 hours a day.

Desired Qualifications

• Math Skills: Proficient with fractions, decimals, basic addition and subtraction, up to basic algebra.

• Professionalism: Punctual with a track record of good attendance.

• Equipment Operation: Forklift and overhead hoist experience.

• Technical Skills: Ability to use torches, presses, and pneumatic equipment.

salary: $20 - $22 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 60lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
