NJ/National Title Processor

We are seeking an experienced Title Processor to join our growing title company. This role requires experience processing New Jersey and National residential and commercial title files from opening through post closing. The ideal candidate will be able to independently manage the entire title process, ensure files move efficiently, and provide exceptional service to clients and industry partners.

Responsibilities:

• Manage residential and commercial title files from opening through post closing.
• Order and review title searches, commitments, surveys, and related documents.
• Identify and clear title issues, liens, judgments, and other title defects.
• Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and other parties throughout the transaction.
• Prepare files for closing and ensure all required documents are obtained and reviewed.
• Schedule and manage closings while maintaining communication with all parties involved.
• Ensure files are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company and underwriting requirements.
• Handle post closing activities, including policy issuance and file completion.
• Maintain accurate records and manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Requirements:

• Direct title processing experience.
• Experience handling both New Jersey and national title files.
• Strong understanding of residential and commercial title transactions.
• Ability to independently manage files from opening through post closing.
• Experience clearing title issues and coordinating all aspects of the closing process.
• Strong knowledge of title commitments, title clearance, closing procedures, and post closing requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of files.
• Professional, reliable, responsive, and detail oriented.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and handle pressure.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Takes ownership of files and requires minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of New Jersey title practices and national title transactions.
