Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts with rotation between clinic and hospital locations
• 40 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week contract
• Weekend and holiday on-call rotation required including weeknights
• Possible float to other locations in the south region
• Average 6-8 exams per day
• Perform general, OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, vascular, biopsies and small parts ultrasounds
• Experience with DVT, fetal heart views in OB scans, and breast imaging required
• Strong vascular experience preferred including peripheral vascular procedures
• Perform large volume of ABIs, LE duplex, DVT studies, venous insufficiency and carotid scans
• Work with Philips Epiq Elite ultrasound machines
• Must maintain professional appearance with scrubs of any color
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), RDMS AB or OB/GYN, RVT preferred
• Minimum 2+ years experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility
• High school diploma required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
