Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional Pegasus Farm is currently seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Hartville, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting individuals served in Pegasus Farm’s Wings Adult Day Services Program with activities and options as outlined in their Individual Service Plan in a farm setting and transporting them in our Non Medical vans. Additional Responsibilities Provide formal and informal support and training on all vocational habilitation and adult day support activities, assisting the individuals to acquire new skills and increase independence Complete all skill development and support logs, progress notes, individual work records, incident reports and other work-related documents in a timely manner Ensure a healthy and clean work environment for all individuals served Perform administrative functions as needed Take an active role in the Farm’s fundraising, special events and public relation activities Complete all employee time sheets, time off request sheets and submit to direct supervisor in a timely manner Provide Non Medical Transportation to adults with individuals served in Pegasus Farm’s Wings Adult Day Services Program. Requirements High School Diploma Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred Ability to lift 25 pounds and carry it for 100 yards Current Ohio Driver’s License with no more than 6 points. An acceptable BCII check with no violations involving abuse, neglect, assault, theft, or other potential client right’s issues Ability to pass all background checks as required by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities Ability to complete and maintain training and/or certification as a Direct Support Professional Benefits Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr Workstream
