The night shift consists of a minimum staffing requirement of 3 respiratory therapists.General InformationNumber of Beds: 240Number of Staff: 15 RT staffAverage Patient Ratios: 30-40 points per shiftEquipmentKey equipment utilized on the unit includes the Hamilton G5 and Meditech EMR system.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:At least 6 months of current acute care hospital RRT experienceBLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certificationCRT or NBRC certificationPreferred Skills:Prior Meditech experiencePICU experienceNICU experienceTypical ProceduresResponsibilities include:Administering treatmentsSetting up ventilatorsAssisting with intubationConducting arterial blood gas (ABG) analysisProviding patient and staff educationPerforming all respiratory therapy procedures in ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, and MED SURGPersonality FitThe ideal candidate will be a team player and collaborative in nature.Unit Guidelines/PoliciesPlease reach out for details on unit policies and guidelines.Additional InformationThis unit offers flexible scheduling and allows for significant autonomy.
