We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. This role includes responsibilities in accounts payable, payroll processing, general ledger maintenance, and work order tracking. Qualified applicants will have prior relevant accounting experience, proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, and a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail. Candidates with a high degree of prior experience and education may be eligible for advanced classifications (Accounting Assistant II or III). This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with a starting wage of $24.95 per hour, with a scheduled increase after six months of employment and annually thereafter. The position is represented by the IBEW (membership not required to apply) and is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening (excluding marijuana).
