Mechanical Drafter

Job Description M.Braun, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Mechanical Drafter to join our Engineering Department. This person will be responsible for finalizing project drawings and all associated details prior to the production release. Job functions include, but are not limited to: Responsible for creation of fabrication and sub-assembly drawings to provide to vendors for quoting and purchase Make minor design changes to existing products Research, cross reference and specify components and standards when needed Prepare and finalize complete drawing package for release Complete all documentation for purchase parts Responsible for processing department related nonconformances when required Job Requirements Experience using PTC Pro-E/Creo CAD Software preferred, other CAD Software experience considered Experience specifying Weld callouts to AWS standards preferred Experience creating detailed drawings for industrial machinery including machined parts and sheet metal parts to meet industry standards Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) preferred Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat a plus, but not required Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and processes The Ideal Candidate Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail Must have strong troubleshooting skills and possess the ability to resolve common problems Must be able to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records Must be self‑motivated with the ability to work efficiently with others Education Requirements Certificate or diploma in a relevant field of study is preferred Physical and Mental Requirements Physical Requirement: Must have fine motor skills; ability to do a repetitive motion; and the ability to sit for most of the day Visual Requirement: Must be able to visually read documents and a computer screen Hearing Requirement: N/A Mental Requirement: Comprehension, Reasoning, Decision Making, Communication, and Mathematics Benefits M.Braun offers an excellent benefits package which includes health insurance, voluntary dental insurance, 401K, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, flexible spending account, and more. #J-18808-Ljbffr MBRAUN LLC
