Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Discover a rewarding opportunity to support students’ success as a Sign Language Interpreter, working on a contract basis in the Americus, GA, area. Play an essential part in ensuring accessible communication for elementary through high school students across the district, primarily providing interpretation during testing occasions. This per diem role is structured around district needs, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule while impacting learners of all ages.
Qualifications:
- Valid credential with a 3.5 EIPA score or higher
- GAPSC credential required
- Experience supporting students from elementary to high school preferred
- Strong communication, professionalism, and adaptability in various educational settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation for students during district-wide testing sessions
- Collaborate with educational teams to ensure appropriate access and accommodations are in place
- Adapt interpreting style to meet the needs of individual students across a wide age and skill range
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards in all assignments
- Travel to assigned schools within the district as required by the caseload
