QA Testing Lead

QA Testing Lead Partner with functional testing teams to identify manual test cases suitable for automation and define automation strategies. Design, develop, and execute scalable automated test solutions for mobile and web applications. Lead the development and maintenance of automation frameworks utilizing Selenium, Appium, and related technologies. Coordinate with teams to acquire and provision de-identified test data required to support automation efforts. Establish and enforce automation coding standards, best practices, and framework governance. Conduct peer reviews of automation scripts to ensure quality, maintainability, and compliance with standards. Drive automation coverage improvements and identify opportunities to optimize testing efficiency. Report automation progress, quality metrics, risks, and testing status to leadership and project stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA engineers on automation design and implementation. Develop functional, system integration, and accessibility test scenarios and automation strategies that support comprehensive application testing. Create or coordinate the creation of test data required for test execution and automation validation. Design and develop automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium and Selenium to validate application functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria. Support testing across both iOS and Android platforms, with hands-on experience in at least one platform and understanding of mobile testing principles across both. Develop and maintain automated API and microservices testing solutions to ensure end-to-end application quality. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enterprise test suites to support continuous testing and nightly execution. Identify, document, and track defects discovered during Agile, System Integration, and User Acceptance Testing phases. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot automation failures, validate fixes, and improve overall test coverage. Continuously evaluate automation tools, frameworks, and best practices to enhance testing effectiveness. 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation. Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Appium. Hands-on Experience with Git hub actions and Jenkins. Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web and mobile applications. Experience automating test cases for mobile applications using Appium. Experience testing and automating applications on either iOS or Android platforms, with familiarity across both environments. Hands on experience on Voice Over and Talk Back for Accessibility Testing. Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, REST, JSON, XML, and SOAP-based services. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, and test management tools. Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and integration of automated test suites. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Apolis
