Radiology - CT Tech

CT Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call requirements.

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This role requires the performance of a variety of imaging procedures, including basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiently perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Conduct biopsy and drainage procedures as needed.
• Knowledge of the processing of CT systems and surgical/sterile procedures.
• Administer studies with or without contrast media.
• Maintain an understanding of cross-sectional anatomy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
• At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including prior travel experience.
