Optimal Care is building a talent pipeline of compassionate CNAs and STNAs for future Hospice Aide opportunities serving West Michigan. Hospice Aides provide Hands-on, end-of-life care that supports patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life in homes and care facilities. About the Role Bring comfort, dignity, and compassionate care to patients during life's most meaningful moments. As a Hospice Aide/Homemaker, you'll provide hands-on support that helps patients maintain their quality of life while remaining in the place they call home. Through assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility, you'll help ensure each patient receives the care, comfort, and respect they deserve. This role is ideal for a caring professional who finds purpose in building meaningful connections and serving others with empathy and compassion. You'll develop trusting relationships with patients and families while working closely with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to support each patient's unique needs. Every visit is an opportunity to provide reassurance, preserve dignity, and make a lasting impact during an important stage of the patient's journey.
