Pay: $32.00$53.00/hour

Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM7:00 AM

Hours: 36 guaranteed hours/week | 3 shifts/week

Start Date: Quick Start

Contract: 13 weeks

Setting: In person | Level III Trauma Center Emergency Department

Patient Population: Pediatric, adult, and geriatric

Department Details: 20 beds | 1:45 patient ratio | Approximately 100 patients/day

About the Role

EMP Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a fast-paced Level III Trauma Center.

You will assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity; respond to emergencies and changing patient conditions; administer medications; and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity.
• Provide emergency nursing care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and perform appropriate emergency nursing interventions.
• Monitor patient condition and recognize when immediate intervention is needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow nursing standards, safety protocols, and facility policies.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and quality care.

Requirements

• Current, active, and unrestricted Texas RN license or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of two years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required.
• Experience caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency environment.
• BSN preferred.

Compensation: $32.00$53.00 per hour.
