TGCM Operations Technician 6

Job Overview Air Liquide is hiring a TGCM Operations Technician 6 (Open) located in Dallas, TX at 13011 TI Blvd (DMOS 6). The role is responsible for operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 to support semiconductor manufacturing customers. The Technician ensures safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of gases and chemicals while contributing to continuous improvement and emergency response. Responsibilities Support the reliable operation and maintenance of liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment. Apply analytical problem‑solving to optimize and repair gas/chemical delivery equipment. Conduct daily rounds to contribute to site safety and efficiency, including recording readings, monitoring systems, and facilitating gas/chemical container exchanges. Develop a deep understanding of liquid bulk delivery procedures to support site‑wide safety and quality. Facilitate the safe and efficient transfer of bulk gas and chemical trailers. Partner with the team to provide essential information and follow reporting procedures for quality, safety, and inventory according to site policies. Collaborate in the identification and resolution of gas/chemical‑related manufacturing challenges. Serve as an active contributor to the Emergency Response Team. Facilitate the coordination and issuance of Hazardous Work Permits. Safely restore the operation of high‑purity gas and chemical delivery equipment. Contribute to customer and Air Liquide community programs, including Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive Maintenance. Mentor and support the growth of TGCM contractors and fellow Tech 5 team members. Partner in the development and maintenance of clear, site‑specific work instructions. Uphold our collective HS&E Standards to ensure a safe environment for everyone, including PPE and safety programs. Contribute to the team’s success by completing assigned tasks according to established procedures. Perform minor analytical and sampling procedures to support product quality. Dedicate to the safety of our team, neighbors, and the general public surrounding our facilities. Requirements High School Diploma or GED or 5+ years related work experience. 2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Good communication skills. Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions. Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment. Knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements. Self‑motivated to learn. Electro‑mechanical aptitude. Understanding and abiding by stringent safety and quality rules. Display aptitude for working in an emergency/high‑stress situation and performing problem‑solving actions safely and properly. Demonstrated ability to train junior technicians. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 60 lbs. Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day. Ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums – drums could be up to 500 lbs). Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.). Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks.
