Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, combine insights from interviews and validated assessment tools, and utilize these evaluations to create tailored treatment plans. \n
- Engage in individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing effective therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Mindfulness-Based therapy as appropriate. \n
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support to clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, utilizing a calm and compassionate approach. \n
- Document client interactions meticulously, maintaining complete confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations, to ensure continuity of care and facilitate data-driven treatment adjustments. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to develop comprehensive care strategies that encompass medication management, community support services, and holistic well-being. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mental health concerns, providing necessary resources and information to empower informed decisions regarding treatment options. \n
- Stay abreast of current research and trends within the mental health field through participation in workshops, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. \n
The primary focus of this role will be on serving individuals from varied backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and life transitions. This diverse clientele requires an empathetic approach and the ability to connect with clients from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, promoting a culture of acceptance and support.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Currently licensed as a Mental Health Therapist in Texas (LMFT, LPC, LCSW). \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required. \n
- Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities, with a deep understanding of therapeutic techniques applicable to various client profiles. \n
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role is required. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships. \n
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. \n
- A commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards in every client interaction. \n

- Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly within community health clinics, is highly desired. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology is advantageous. \n
- Advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities or specialties, such as trauma-informed care or adolescent mental health, will be viewed favorably. \n
