Description:
Performs CT examinations in accordance with established protocols.
Assists and instructs patients prior to and during examinations.
Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.
Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations.
Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use.
Reports equipment failures and/or malfunctions to the radiology supervisor.
Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies, and drug reactions according to quality assurance policies.
Responsible for processing images, organizing paperwork, and completing charges.
Works in other areas of the department, such as radiology and ultrasound.
Meets or exceeds organizational standards for patient safety and quality.
Takes call or stand-by when required.
Performs other duties as required.
