Senior Power BI Developer

Zer04 Consulting is an IT staffing and solutions firm focused on connecting high-impact technical talent with organizations that need to move quickly and get things right the first time.

We're working with a client that needs a hands-on Power BI contractor to add bandwidth to an active project.

This is a build-focused role. You'll step in and help accelerate delivery across dashboards, reporting, and security, working alongside an existing team.

What you'll be doing:

• Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports based on defined requirements
• Support data modeling and transformation efforts as needed
• Create clear, usable visualizations that align with business needs
• Assist with Power BI security, including row-level security (RLS) and access controls
• Help ensure reports are accurate, performant, and ready for delivery
• Collaborate with internal team members to keep the project moving

What we're looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop and Service)
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Experience working with SQL and multiple data sources
• Familiarity with Power BI security (RLS, permissions)
• Ability to step into an active project and contribute quickly
• Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with the team
