Senior Power BI Developer

We're working with a client that needs a hands-on Power BI contractor to add bandwidth to an active project. This is a build-focused role. You'll step in and help accelerate delivery across dashboards, reporting, and security, working alongside an existing team. What you'll be doing:- Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports based on defined requirements
- Support data modeling and transformation efforts as needed
- Create clear, usable visualizations that align with business needs
- Assist with Power BI security, including row-level security (RLS) and access controls
- Help ensure reports are accurate, performant, and ready for delivery
- Collaborate with internal team members to keep the project moving
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop and Service)
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
- Experience working with SQL and multiple data sources
- Familiarity with Power BI security (RLS, permissions)
- Ability to step into an active project and contribute quickly
- Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with the team
- Clear scope and immediate impact
