Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Maintenance Technician Assistant positions in Knoxville, TN.
Details for Maintenance Technician Assistant position:
• Full-Time | Long Term Temporary
• $20/hr • Zero Fees - you'll never be charged for any screening service
• Fast Start Date
• Weekly Pay
• Position lasting 30-90 days, may vary
• Monday-Friday / 8a-5p Job Duties for Maintenance Technician Assistant:
• Provides support to the maintenance team in preparing apartment homes, maintaining the community's appearance, and assisting with minor maintenance tasks
• Assist maintenance technicians with apartment make-readies and unit preparation
• Perform general groundskeeping, including picking up litter, blowing sidewalks, and maintaining curb appeal
• Assist with painting, caulking, and touch-up work
• Help move appliances, and maintenance materials as needed
• Replace air filters, smoke detectors, light bulbs, and HVAC filters
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs under the direction of a maintenance technician
• Clean and organize maintenance shops, storage areas, and equipment
• Assist with pool area, amenities, and common area upkeep
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
• Complete any other related tasks as needed Qualifications for Maintenance Technician Assistant:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Apartment maintenance or construction experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools • Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain
• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, walk, climb stairs
