Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry, is seeking a Direct Hire Quality Manager to join their team! This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with comprehensive benefits, including full medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with 401K! Quality Manager Job Summary:
Pay: $90,000 - $107,000 (based on experience)
Shift: Day shift, Monday - Friday (occasional weekend and late hours as needed)
Location: McCalla, AL

As the Quality Manager, you will oversee process quality, supplier quality, final inspection, and customer quality issues (OEM interface), while being responsible for plant-wide quality systems and team leadership. This is a full-scope plant quality leadership role, not just a functional engineer. Direct Hire opportunity, meaning you'll be employed directly with the company, offering long-term career stability and growth potential. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead entire quality organization (process, supplier, inspection teams) 
• Own and maintain IATF/TS16949 quality systems 
• Drive:
  • Root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why)
  • Corrective actions & countermeasures 
• Manage customer claims (0 km issues) + OEM relationships (Hyundai/Kia) 
• Lead APQP / new model launches 
• Oversee:
  • PFMEA
  • Control Plans
  • SPC / SQC
  • MSA
• Support line-side process improvements + assembly quality optimization

Qualifications:

• Automotive manufacturing (Tier 1 strongly preferred)
• Experience with:
  • APQP
  • PFMEA
  • SPC / SQC
  • 8D problem solving
• Strong leadership over:
  • Supplier Quality
  • Process Quality
  • Customer Quality
• Ability to work directly with OEMs on claims + audits
