• Position: Travel Long-Term Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Location: Utica, NY 13502
• Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,260 - $1,320
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Shift Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; floating within the same building as needed
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility
• Active New York LPN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with PointClickCare EMR preferred
• Ability to work night shift nursing schedules and every other weekend
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to float within the same building when needed
• Resume must clearly document relevant LTC experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and facility protocols
• Support residents with chronic care and memory care-related needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safety, comfort, and quality outcomes
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record
• Assist with unit needs and maintain a professional, team-oriented presence
