Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct individualized, group, and family therapy sessions designed to support clients across a spectrum of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. \n
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing diagnostic assessments to inform therapeutic strategies. \n
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure all aspects of a client's health are addressed. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHRs) in compliance with HIPAA regulations, documenting progress notes and treatment outcomes professionally and timely. \n
- Participate actively in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development initiatives to remain current with best practices and advancements in mental health treatment. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services, conducting thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety concerns for clients in urgent need. \n
The clientele at Lakeside Behavioral Health ranges from adolescents to adults, each with unique challenges and backgrounds. - A Bachelor's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. \n \n
- Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State. \n
- A minimum of two years of proven experience in providing counseling services, focusing on individual, group, and family therapy. \n

The salary range for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
