Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Non-Sterile Compounding
Pay: $19 - $23 per hour (depending on licensure and experience)
Hours: 5 days, 8-hour shifts between 9 AM - 7 PM, with Saturday rotation (9 AM - 1 PM)
Start Date: ASAP

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll be an essential part of supporting daily pharmacy operations and ensuring the safe and accurate preparation of medications.


As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll role purpose is to support pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications with precision, following safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service. You'll work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.


What You'll Do
As a pharmacy technician, you will be responsible for

• Reading and interpreting physicians' medication orders with precision
• Following compound formulas accurately to create non-sterile medications in accordance with USP 800 guidelines
• Preparing and packaging medications, including those requiring special handling and safety measures
• Assisting in filling, processing, and dispensing prescriptions efficiently
• Supporting inventory management through diligent stock control practices
• Providing excellent customer service by promptly and courteously answering phone inquiries and assisting customers

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have

• Ohio Pharmacy Technician License (Registered or Certified, required)
• 1 to 3 years of pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication abilities
• Ability to follow safety and compounding guidelines accurately
