Athletic Trainer

Position Title: Athletic Trainer (D2/D3) Reporting to: Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance Position Summary This posting is part of an evergreen recruiting effort to build a talent pipeline for future Athletic Trainer opportunities. While no position is currently open, we regularly review applications and will contact qualified candidates when a suitable role becomes available. Athletic Trainers evaluate athletic injuries, consult with team physicians or other health professionals, provide health care, and refer patients to support injury care and injury prevention across 16 varsity sports. Key Job Responsibilities Provide practice and event coverage, including evenings and weekends. Supervise athletic training facilities and student first aiders. Provide care, prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation, and documentation of injuries for assigned sports. Communicate with sports medicine, coaching, and athletic administration staff. Sport assignments and other duties determined by the Head Athletic Trainer. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or related field. NATA BOC certification. Wisconsin license eligible. Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification. Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.
